Based in the quiet rhythms of Central Ohio, Zephaniah Miller creates photographs that feel lived-in, patient, and human. His work is shaped by an unusual journey—from lining up on a football field at the United States Air Force Academy to serving as an officer in North Carolina, to finally slowing the world down through the lens of a Canon AE-1 Program.

With a background in Behavioral Science, Zephaniah is drawn to the subtle things most people miss: the expression between words, the way light rests on skin, the stories hiding inside ordinary moments. He develops his film by hand, welcoming the imperfections, surprises, and texture that make analog photography so immediate and honest.

Outside of photography, he fuels his creative instincts through books, movies, home-cooked meals, time with loved ones, and the warmth of neo-soul melodies—each feeding into the emotional language of his images.
